2. The UV Lamp- Almost all UV lamps are the same in design and they all work on the same function. The work of a UV lamp is to produce UV-C which is the wavelength of UV light and it is examined germicidal. The ways that they use to perform can be different according to the purpose and disinfection conditions. The three main types of UV lamps are low-pressure standard, low-pressure high output, and low-pressure amalgam lamps.

3. The Quartz Sleeve- The quartz sleeve is long in size and cylindrical tube of quartz glass which is designed to provide protection to the UV lamps. When it comes to preservation, it is necessary to clean the quartz sleeve regularly and change the lamp once a year.

4. The Controller Unit- It would not be wrong if we say that the controller unit is the brain of the entire UV system as it controls the electric output of the lamp, and commands it to produce UV-C light. These systems range in complexity and intensity, but basically, they all do the same task.
